Heck. It all sounds really good man. Outstanding.
Just about every setting sounds mint dude. Great job. I could make use of one of those for sure!!!

Drat the 1st sample won't play but the 2nd did and WOW, that's a very cool 18w. I LOVE it. Well done.
Thanks dudes!
The first clip should play. Works for me.

that's fucking awesome!!
That bonk is there at around 3:15 on the second clip.
That's bad ass.
The problem I'll have with this boob and the other boob is choosing which to use>
I guess I'll use one one week and the other the next week.
Maybe I need a second cabinet
Use both boobs!
Yeah dude, I know you love the BONK. I do too. And this amp has it for sure. The Fender is great, but this thing has my kind of sound all over it. I'm definitely gonna build myself one. I'm just gonna do the TMB channel though. I said it was JCM800-ish, and it really is.
Hell yeah, that thing sounds badass. Channel 1 with both controls cranked was great. Channel 2 just sounds good all the way across. It was a little too gnarly there at the end of clip 2, but still held together.
And I was just playing Ziggy Stardust tonight through my LP into the Mesa Lone Star Special at ear-ringing levels. This makes me miss my Marshall even more

Haha yeah Ziggy has to be done through a Marshall!
It's a cool amp man. You said you might be interested in building one...do it. I know you're going through some blahs. A project like this could give you some new focus.

none of the ones I recognise are exactly correctly played - which must be some copyright type thing.... interesting. I assume that's the reason. Thoughts?
They're also very shy about putting the actual amp names into their models as well and use a sort of code to imply what it is that's been modelled.
Yup that's a copyright thing. Youtube murders people for background songs, riff demos, anything. I think the only time you can get around a musical copyright issue is if you're actually teaching a riff for educational purposes under "fair use". And even then it's a battle. Same with amp names. I remember in the old Guitar Rig software they'd call amps by cute little names like Citrus for Orange, Lead 800 for the JCM 800, Twang Reverb for Twin Reverb, High White for HiWatt, etc.
Anyway, all those profiles sound pretty good. And I love that dude's black SG and white LP Studio.

Also, when I get the new OS installed, I may dip into the OD pedals section and see what toanz I can produce. Apparently it's been done a different way than "normal" so may take a bit of digging.
This is one thing that you may not realise about the Kemper, incidentally. I bought it 4 or 5 years ago, and haven't paid a cent since, and have got, for free, every single new upgrade and sound they've developed since... I still only use a handful of them, but it's a pretty good deal.
Yeah, a kemper does seem like a cracking deal and your tones are always great Armi. I came really close to getting on before I got my H&K.
You say you only use a handful of them... I don't think I've got that kind of willpower! I'd still be crippled by option paralysis and wouldn't have recorded a song!

Maybe. But the reality is most people don't need or use as much variety as they think they do.

I know. In reality I'm pretty happy with the one amp
Yeah. That 4-channel JVM I traded to minerman....when I got that thing I thought "awesome, I'll have clean and crunch and all this overdrive and...." the amp pretty much stayed on one channel/mode/setting for 99.98765% of it's time with me.
My amp is trying to be three things, a nice "fender" clean, a kind of scooped marshally crunch, and something hi-gain... 3 amps might be better (I know you have about 8 amps just for crunch. But I don't have the space or money for a stack of different heads.

I have eight amps that are basically the same thing and I cherish every one of them!
Almost every tone I could ever want can be found in a single channel Marshall circuit. I could survive just fine and dandy with only a JCM 800 2203. An 800 gives me as much gain as I ever want, and it will clean up by rolling back the guitar volume. For such a thunderous monster, the sensitivity on those amps is amazing. Best amps ever. And though I never use the low input, it is there for crystal cleans. I could easily survive with just that one amp.
My buddy is currently borrowing his brother's H&K Grandmeister 36 with the footcontroller. I have to say, it sounds pretty good. Every guitar we have played through it sounds like a guitar should. Tele's sound like Teles, Lesters sound like Lesters, etc. We did notice that at bedroom volumes most of the low watt settings were fine but you really couldn't crank them. If you're playing loud, you really need the higher watt options. We compared this to his Marshall Origin 20 head (I thought this was a really good amp. But again, the lower watt settings don't compare to the higher watt settings), his 50 Watt H&K Head, his Traynor combo (which sounds great) and my MIG 50. The MIG 50 won hands down and the difference was dramatic. But Grandmeister held it's own against all of the others. The advantage goes to the Grandmiester however because they have a decent reverb, delay and modulation effects built right into the amp. I could legitimately play in a cover band with this unit and no effects pedals (though I don't often use many pedals anyway). I may be picking up the newer version of this called the Grandmeister Deluxe 40 rather than the Kemper but I still have some research to do before I drop $2k. My buddy is also interested in the Friedman's too so we may go on shopping excursion as one of our local stores has Friedman products in stock.
I'm heading over to his house again one night this week. I'll bring over some recording gear and grab some tones.

I have the Tubemeister 40. (Not quite as flash as the Grandmeister) - doesn't have the built in effects and stuff. Fuck me, its loud on the 40W setting though! I love mine. For recording its all the amp I need/want.

Being a Marshall fanboy I was very underwhelmed with the Origin. I think it's poop.
I am not a Marshall fanboy and I was underwhelemd by the origins. I had high hopes for them but nope! they just seemed kind of plain and nothing stand out about them.

Those are great amps. I tried some in Texas with greg and fell in love with them and i found a guy up here in the north pole who sells then out of Edmonton and have tried a few more. All very equally awesome but just astronomically priced in Canadian loonies and toonies. I can't justify the price of them. But I know if I ever came into a big ass chunk money I wouldn't even hesitate and I'd get a Dirty Shirley.

Exactly. I call them "generic tube amps". They're okay, not the worst, but they certainly don't have any classic Marshall magic in them. Very sterile, very bland.

Friedmans are kick ass amps. All of them. For their smaller stuff I really like the Runt and the Dirty Shirley. The Dirty Shirley gets into the elusive Mike Ness-ish kind of tone ballpark.

Yes exactly my thoughts. being the ness fanboy I am am I would be ok with that expense. Although, i am sort of happy with what I've been getting of this AD30. I've been thinking of selling my Traynor. but at best i might get like 300 bucks for it not much i can get for an upgrade on top of that.
