I don't know what those errors are about, but I didn't use any features that weren't in 5, so you should be fine

Re: Challenge #7 - Bloodlines
I don't think you really know how hard this is to try to make a coherent riff to play nicely with that noise. I am still picking away at it.
I will saythough, this excuse to drop tune my one of my guitars down to a B has been SOOO much fun.

Lol!
You can always just add more FX to the noise track.

My inability to improv and riff off the hip.
This project has really taught me i suck. actually. I need something more concrete to work off of other than fluid watery noise. I have a battle plan for tonight though as the missus is working late and my work load is not so much. So here's hoping we'll have some doomy noise added into the other noise. It might only be some rudimentary chugging on some weird augmented note but it'll be. . . . something?

Ok i found myself a bit of a sludgey groove in all that chaos and i am half way there boys. If not by the weekend definitely by the end of the weekend. We're all good.
Of all 2.5 Challenges i have tackled this is by the most challenging. Thanks for this Steve.

DONE TRACKING!!!
I am actually kind of stoked on this. I am pleased as piss with it to be honest. Some flubs here and there but for the most part it's pretty fuck yea!! I got some noise i have to / want to add to it so that part may have to wait till tomorrow as we have some guests popping by here shortly.
Who ever get's to this next is going to hate their life.

JD01, Greg_L, either of you want to call dibs or do you want to give next round to Crows?
Re: Challenge #7 - Bloodlines
He can have at it. I had a guitar thing in mind but didn't wanna get in before shantilly lace had his shot. I'll add something later.vomitHatSteve wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 11:55 am

Re: Challenge #7 - Bloodlines
Cheers Gents. I had a blast. But i can sufficiently say my brain was toast by Sunday night. Living in nightmare mode for that long does things to a guy i never thought possible. Luckily it was Halloween and it all felt normal.
Also in pure tribute to vomitHatSteve and his .. himness, I figured i'd do him a solid and use the absolute shittiest guitar rig i could muster up to create some of the feed back and oddball noises that also seem to have no coherency in this.
I used this POS Blackstar practice amp sat on my desk and just plunked the worst mic i own in front of it and cranked all knobs onto 10 and smeared in some of it's onboard delay. I fed it a good dose of my guitar through a bunch of gain pedals mostly dimed and it made a noise. It was actually cool to see that little amp producing feedback like that.
For those interested i used my Sparrow Rat Rod LP Knock Off. it's the Mega destroyer model. It seemed like a fitting guitar to use for this. I think i am just going to leave tuned to B at all times now. I got the bug to do more of this kind stuff. But maybe with realer sounding drums and less moo cow synth insanity. Just basic mindless heavy chugging and droneing. Despite my efforts to correct some issues with this guitar in particular to use it in standard E kind of drives me mental a little bit. After that entire thread i discovered that the very first fret was the culprit on the shitty intonation situation and i still have yet to fix it. Maybe next string change
Stoked to hear phase 4 of this demon song.
