I meant to upload this a few weeks ago. I thought @Greg_L would get a kick out of this. We had The Smithereens in for a gig and we provided the backline. So we had 3 JCM 800's and 3 4x12 cabinets. Marshall Crenshaw was doing the singing and he was playing a Mosrite 12 string. The band sounded really good and, with the exception of the bass player, we're all cool dudes.

We had Junior Marvin and The Legendary Wailers come trough the venue where I work recently. For this gig, we supply all of the back line (Keys, amps, drums, etc). He always asks for a backup guitar and this gig he had my '74 Strat as his backup. He ended up using it for a good portion of the show. After sound check, he was trying to take a pic of the guitars and amps. He couldn't get his flash to work so I offered to take the pic and send it to him. So I now have his number . He actually called me while I was having dinner to thank me . He was also nice enough to take a pic with my bobblehead (and then insisted on me being in one as well). It's my 3rd gig with guys and they are a lot of fun.

There are lots of acts touring now that should do the same; in all genres! If only for the laughs.

Whoops I've confused Marvin with Murvin.
Well, I did see Marvin with Bob n Co. & I did buy the Murvin album after the Clash Debut brought him to my attention. All these years of confusing the two dudes. SORRY Murv & Marv.
