Cool beans man, I'm 100% sure the loss of chunk/bottom is coming from my ISO cab, but I can somewhat make up for it by turning the bass knob up a tad, but I have to be pretty conservative with that, or it'll get woofy...Greg_L wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2017 9:44 pm Yes, to me, yours sounded pretty much just like the big Jubilee I had here, so that's good. Your sound coming through my cab in the room was like someone was here actually playing. I think all you gotta do is keep tweaking your miking and placement and I think yours could sound pretty damn close to a big Jubilee.
After about 10 seconds of your re-amp I knew my mic placement on the original was off & needed attention...
Off topic: Those little slider bars I have for my mics in the ISO cab are ok, but they're finicky & a bit of a pain to make sure they stay put...I already have one little short mic boom, so I may re-work the mic bars to make it a little better for me...
I finally got around to fixing the speaker bolts in the baffle too, I had to buy new wingnuts, the first batch's threads were fucked up when I bought 'em...The new ones are ok though, I took the bolts with me to make sure...I'm using drum head tension rods for the speaker bolts, the bottom 2 are the same size bolts, but they have a plastic knob to make it quicker/easier to change...
On the top 2 bolts I use my little drum key ratchet...This has made it a lot easier & even quicker to swap a speaker...
And I'm still looking into the power conditioner thing, most likely I'll go with something like you suggested instead of an overpriced power strip & end up re-routing all the cables that are behind my desk...I always try to keep everything tidy, but it's still a mess with all the cables back there...
