Damn. Does that mean I've missed the window for getting any guitar parts recorded?
By the way, why do you need the floor sanders in? Is it a bond issue?

It was only for a day!. I can't put a chair there for two weeks, but I can always stand up... Look at that floor though, bewdiful!
I'm doing the place up for sale - the floors were 16 years old, I've lived here for 12, and I've dragging crap across them for years so they were very badly marked - had to be done.

It's only a repro poster sadly. I have a bit of an obsession with the Titanic. I went to Belfast with my wife last year for my 40th and had a look round where it was made, etc. Incredible place if you like that kind of thing. The Dry Dock is where it was built is just an incredible hole in the ground. Insanely huge! We stayed in the Titanic hotel which was the building it was designed in. Fabulous place. I'd recommend a visit.WhiskeyJack wrote: βWed Oct 16, 2019 12:51 pm
REally nice room!!!! I like your titanic thing too. I am into that sort of stuff. Is that reproduction thing or is it the actual newspaper thingy.
I could go on and on but I won't. Cheers

Re: SHOW US YOUR MUSIC ROOM!!!

thank ye' sir ..... I need to take a pic of my other room that's mpstly for storing gear ..... I have a LOT more stuff in there!
Re: SHOW US YOUR MUSIC ROOM!!!
Lt. Bob ,
I does my little heart good to see music making gear & record playing gear together.
I've begun using the amp speakers and turntable I have in my gear room becasue I very rarely get to play stuff in the living room any more. The missus, despite her excellent ear, eye & fingers for music, doesn't like hearing stuff much these days - prefers the boob tube.

And when someone says "hey LT, you got that Dean Martin Christmas album with Baby it's Cold Outside", you likely reach over and grab it first try!
Nice space man!

Mine. Work to pay the bills happens here (more often than music making, sadly), so it's the combined home office & music room.
To the left a few inches is a wall with a low bookshelf in front of it, so there'd be no room to turn the drums around the "right way." In this shot the mics were set up for the mid/side experiment I did the other day.
EDIT: link to "show us your drums" thread...

awesome youtube comment of the day
Lol it's still less satanic than whatever rituals Katie Perry and Taylor Swift do in their performances.
