Not that it matters but some mics are rather fugly. Some look great but may have something unattractive about them. I refer to the RODE NTA-2 which is an otherwise nice-looking piece but its feature/option panel is an eyesore IMO.
I'm cherry-picking here and I know it's pointless but my OCD cannot help but notice these things. I also hate green Les Pauls but that's another thread for ugly guitars.

This.
It’s interesting you say the green Les Pauls. I completely agree. But I do think a classy blue LP looks really nice. I actually have one lol

I've got a Rode NT1 and it looks cool, completely smooth - not an ugly feature set on it.
LOL, Greg - I agree about the electric shaver.
D112 is pretty ugly - looks like a cooking utensil.

Re: Ugliest Mics
My NT2 has a much nicer looking set of switches - some of the front, some on the back - no weird panel. You do have to think about which way it's pointing however... which is, I guess, why they bundled them all together on the NT2A.

Yeah the D112 is damn fugly. They could have gotten a nice black and gun metal grey instead of the green, grey, black mix. Weird.
