My Pedal collection
Re: My Pedal collection
3 x Strymons - Timeline delay, Big Sky reverb, Volante tape delay
A Digitech chorus/flanger which I never use
A Vox OD which I never use
Dunlop wah - I probably should check to see the battery hasn't leaked everywhere - haven't used forever.
Plus an eBow - although that's obviously not a pedal. Also don't use it any more.
That's it.

Re: My Pedal collection
Allow me to suggest the Peterson Strobostomp ...... seriously.
yeah it's a bit more but if ever there was a tuner to love, this is the one.
To me the most important thing on a tuner is the display .... most of them will tune adequately.
But you need to be able to glance at it and tune quickly IMO.
And the display on the Strobostomp is incredible ...... you can be several feet away and easily see it .... it can be the absolute brightest sun you've ever seen directly overhead and you can see it fine.
And it's always on so often you can just glance at it while playing a note and not even have to mute it.
Plus it's large ..... super easy to read.
And it has all the features .... display color .... 'sweetened tunings' ( a lot of them ) ... custom tunings and all that stuff I don't use ... but it's there.
And they're accurate ...... Peterson invented the strobe tuner in the early 50's and has been a tuner manufacturer for 75 years and I have 3 of their strobes for my piano tuning though I don't tune anymore.
And it's actually a nice looking pedal ..... most of the top is display.
I truly find it to be about the best tuner-pedal for stage use that I've ever seen.
Re: My Pedal collection
Meh I appreciate the recommendation but I don't like strobe tuners. I don't like that kind of display. And that fucker is expensive lol.

Re: My Pedal collection
I got a couple of new pedals today. A Carbon Copy which I've been after for ages, and a cheap JHS Reverb cos I hate my HoF mini
Re: My Pedal collection
Had a little while to faff with the Carbon Copy today. It's good. A basic delay that does one thing really well.

Where did @liv_rong go?

Trumpistan
Re: My Pedal collection
Blows my mind how seemingly intelligent people simply dismiss the enormous number of lies clearly shown to be lies.
So they are 'seemingly' intelligent but in actual fact, are not.
Absolutely zero critical thinking.
I don't care if they can speak intelligently .... it's simply the appearance of intelligence where none exists.

Did I miss something? Liv rong deleted his account?
Re: My Pedal collection
Yoooooo I will dismiss the last few comments because I’m not here for politics (btw I’m definitely more of a libertarian lol, not a Trumper).
But holy fuck @Lt. Bob, that’s a lot of pedals! And I’m surprised @Greg_L has that many, though not surprised he doesn’t use them .
I’ve had maybe 2 different pedals on the board here or there over the past few years but this is my current lineup:

Your boards always look really tidy. I think its those flattened angled jacks that you use... I kinda based my board on an earlier one of yours and it looks similar... just a bit shitter.liv_rong wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 2:39 pm Yoooooo I will dismiss the last few comments because I’m not here for politics (btw I’m definitely more of a libertarian lol, not a Trumper).

Flattened angle jacks are tremendous. They're so good for conserving your board space.JD01 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2024 5:42 amYour boards always look really tidy. Re: My Pedal collection
@liv_rong What’s the Mesa pedal on the left? Is it just an amp switch, or something else?
Re: My Pedal collection
Cool. What kind of Mesa amp is it? I’ve always loved their amps, never owned one.
