Ha maybe. It could be anything. It just needs to cover the tubes but still let the heat out.
When you post the tones can you post them back to back with one of your real 800s dialed in the same way. Maybe even blind test us see if we can tell what the real one is.

Well this thing has left the nest and is now in the possession of it's rightful owner. Been through two different band practices and has performed flawlessly and sounds great. Another win.

I think I've set my sights on my next build too. Like I did with my spite build 2204...I wanna do a no-holds-barred proper schematically correct late 60s Plexi using really good period-correct components.
