So I picked up an Alesis e-kit 2 months back for band practice.
Tragically, my heavy-footed drummer already broke the kick pad. Anyone have any recommendations for more robust kick pads that can take a double-kick?
Anyone use an e-kit?

Re: Anyone use an e-kit?
I will go looking for it but i am 99.9% sure Minerman had a thread about how he cobbled together his E-kit. I think he built a frankenkit and shared with us all his parts and pieces. I did a quick skim for it and it wasn't obvious but i know for sure he it's in here somewhere.

Yeah, he definitely had a thread about it. Look up e-drumming fool. I think the thread was titled "I am an edrumming fool" or something along those lines.
