Foot switch to operate a DAW?

I saw this today. Kind of cool but I'd want a wide variety of reviews before I spent that sort of money.
Particularly handy for tracking - well, that, (apart from overcoming a disability), is the only value I'd see in it. I use my R16 as a wired remote for all of the DAW functions this one offers.
