Good felt picks?

Post by CrowsofFritz »

Anyone know of any?

I just bought some Dunlop ones and they’re....okay. One side is practically as hard as plastic and then there’s a softer side, but only slightly.
“Naaaaaaaaaah man. I ain’t touching that mic. That thing’s expensive!”

I bought some cheap ones from eBay...solid but no where near "plastic".
They're not as useful as I thought they'd be though. I was after that mid 60s thunk in bass.

I bent the picks a ton, which apparently you’re supposed to do to soften them. It’s gotten to a better softness.

I bought them to achieve a classic 60s bass sound like Scott Walker's solo stuff included like this...

and this

The felt didn't help.
