Originally, Regdar was really just a very complicated Reaper track preset. I had one JSFX to generate synth bleep bloops with sliders to adjust timing, key, etc. and another JSFX to generate and loop a random drum loop. Then with several instances of each of those and some convoluted routing, I was able to get randomized music live.

Since then, I rebuilt it all in a much more efficient and modular linux-based system. It's still the same basic premise tho: some channels playing randomized drum loops, others randomly arpeggiating over chord, use a controller to toggle those channels off and on in real time.
