Reaper on Mac and PC

Post by JD01 »

Anyone know if you can transfer Reaper project directories between a PC and Mac? Assuming both machines have the same VSTs installed.

Never tried it, but i can't see why you couldn't. They're just a text file and a bunch of wavs after all

I just googled part of your question and the above link on the Cockos forum came up. No doubt you won't be the first to have wanted to do it - suspect there's a few threads about it there. The one above doesn't really answer the question for you... just shows people are asking.

Like VHS says, it should be simple enough, given what it is. Location of the plug ins could be interesting, however.

You'd probably be best to amend the list of locations swept forVSTs. Otherwise it should be easy.
