Do I need to read this message for any reason - I'm not even sure I know how to log into Paypal messages.

I like the part where our resident fossil knows more about how to use paypal than the younger users.

Nope - just logged into PayPal! Can't find messages anyway. Don't suppose it matters though, Shan has added the cash.

when you log on to Paypal at the top to the right there's the 'log out' button ..... immediately to the left of that is a 'settings' type button and then to the left of that is a little thing that looks like a bell .... click on the bell and it gives you a choice between 'notifications' and 'inbox'
