The Jongleurs live @ The Cloey, Sep 2011 #1

Post by Armistice »

LOL - went looking for the Kid Charlemagne footage - couldn't find it - but stumbled across a complete set of The Jongleurs recorded on a handycam (and via a handycam mic, eek!) - at an open mic we used to play on a regular basis.

There's not much I can do with the sound - the EQ on the video program is spectacularly limited and I'm not so interested that I'm going to render a separate audio track and try to fix it up - I think it's probably beyond repair... clipping as it's getting in.

But, bit of a stroll down memory lane for me anyway. There's a whole set worth - 40 mins or so - which I'm chopping up into individual songs, and will post here as I go.

Firstly, a song you've never heard because we never recorded it. One of Richard's - Pleased to Meet You

I've certainly heard messier bootleg recordings.
