That's not a good thing for people that use them live.

If people have money issues then cheap as fuck is the way to go ...... and I like cheap stuff that performs better than you would think.

But for live use I think this is something I'd spend a bit more on .....

Good call. My concern looking at the behri is that it does look pretty cheap and breakable.

I've had mine for years and its been fine. But, I don't use it live.
That being said, in the past I've had loads of cheap stuff that I have used live, I don't know how people manage to break things so easily... unless you're chucking it around, stamping on it on stage and then just throwing it in the back of the van it will be fine.

Cheap things break more easily. Sure they're fine and wonderful in a bedroom studio where they stay permanently connected and never move. The worst thing that happens to them is dust. But when you play live things break. You move things, you use things, plug it in, unplug it, put it in a bag, put it in a case, put it in a car, bumpy roads, etc. I get a new nick or a ding on my stuff every time I play out, and I'm careful. It just happens. One gig is more potentially damaging to anything than a lifetime of safe indoor home studio use. So it's just a good idea to use burly shit when you play live.
