For Sale: RME FireFace UCX with Advanced Remote and Rack Ears

I figure all of you guys and gals are pretty well set as far as audio interfaces go, but I'm linking my Reverb.com listing for my UCX in case anybody stumbles across it from afar, or if any of you fellas in the US have got a buddy in need of an upgrade.

I'm including the Advanced Remote Control (was $229 new) and the RME rack ears (were $75 new), thus the slightly higher asking price.

Now that I'm set up with a UFX+, my trusty old UCX is going to have to go to a new home. It's truly a great interface, and it'll serve somebody out there well for many years to come.

What does the remote thingy do?

I mainly use it to control main system volume and headphone volume, but it can do all sorts of stuff. It can control talkback (not so useful for a 1-man band), recall snapshots in TotalMix, sum to mono, system mute, volume dim, and several other assignable functions. I've always kept it right next to my FaderPort on my desktop and it's the single most-touched piece of gear on my desk other than my keyboard/mouse. Honestly I can't imagine running the UCX without it.
