Man i wouldn't know where to start. It sounds really good in that demo video though. I don't know much about any of that Waza voodoo stuff but from word of mouth it's nothing to shake a stick at.

I do have one of these:

Re: good lord ... enough knobs?
I don't like amps that are too complicated. I never got my head around the mini-jubilee.
My H&K is three channels but its really simple and logically laid out (I don't really use the 3rd channel much though).
If anyone spots the 1W JCM or, better still, JTM, for sale tell me!

Re: good lord ... enough knobs?
Bob, I think that was my dream amp for ages. There was also a switchable power mini version that I really wanted that I couldn't afford... I probably could afford it now if I sold my H&K... but I really like my H&K.Lt. Bob wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 10:01 pm I do have one of these:

Re: good lord ... enough knobs?
No. I've heard various comparisons of the whole range though. The JCM1 sounded great (I think jonny deep has one) but I slightly preferred the JTM.
I also saw an Anderton's video (but not on their channel) with a JTM-1. It was Lee Anderton playing through one on a different channel and it sounded great. Anyway, they're not available anymore and their 2nd hand price seems to have gone through the roof.
I've been looking at Tiny Terrors and stuff recently too - they're pretty much the price of a pedal!
EDIT: This is the amp I am after:

But it appears that it was a limited run of special amps made just for fucking Anderton's.
Re: good lord ... enough knobs?
I see. Ok then. I've played all the JTMs...even a real one. I wouldn't have thought that'd be a tone you're after.JD01 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 9:17 am

The normal channel on this thing I just built for Boob is pretty JTM-ish.

My favorite amp may still be the Zwinky Smokey.JD01 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 6:28 am I don't like amps that are too complicated. I never got my head around the mini-jubilee.

No knobs. No buttons. Just guitar in and speaker out.
A million eq knobs will do that I guess.Boss wrote:Unmatched tone versatility

I used to have a smokey at uni. (well, it was my housemates). We'd play the open mic things, he'd play acoustic, I'd play electric, but we'd stick the smokey inside the acoustic. Surprisingly balanced mix!
