Lemme know what you guys think...I know it's a boring-ass vid, & didn't wanna show my ugly mug, but wanted to let you guys hear/see my progress...
No editing was done to the midi here guys, what I whacked with the e-kit is what you hear, I know it's pretty simple-simon playing, but I'm a right proud hillbilly, I did this on the first take this evening...
Let me know what you think about the advertising I put in...

That's awesome, miner! You're doing really well - I'm working on a classic metal track at the moment - feel free to have a crack at the drums! They sound good too, but then you know shit loads about sampling and programming so I'm not surprised.
The advertising: You could have been specific about the video being an "Yamaha DTX Demo" (at the moment its just "E Drum Vid 1) as this would attract more hits if people are looking for kit demos. I don't think many people will browse for E Drum Vid.

Nice tight playing, Miner! Is it just me, or are you holding your sticks by the very ends? Nice Rebs advertising,

Thanks guys, this is a "lean as I go" thing, with the drums & the video...
I already changed the title Jdude...
One thing about using the e-kit is I have all kinds of good sounds, & can concentrate on playing instead of worrying about mic placement for now...I'm still having trouble with how hard/soft I hit the pads, but that should get better with time...
Thanks again!!!

Sounds good miner. It's harder to play on those little pads than it is to play real drums.
Another toy that helped destroy the elder race of man..forget about your silly whim it doesn't fit the plan.
Re: Here ya go...the e-drumming fool...
Thanks dude!!! That does make sense because the sweet spot is so small on these drum pads & it should help me improve by being consistent with my hits...
