So I JUST walked in the door with this clunky 80lb monstrosity:
It's a Tascam M-2516 analog mixer, been wanting one of these for about a year and FINALLY found one at a reasonable (I got a killer deal) price about a half hour from where I live. SO psyched. This is gonna get paired up with the Tascam TSR-8 1/2" 8-track I bought about a year ago. Just ran through all the inputs and basic functionality and it seems to work, missing a couple knob tops, but I think I can replace those pretty easily.
Only two things I gotta figure out:
* How to use it
-and-
* Where to put it. It is not small.
NAMD! Tascam M-2516

Re: NAMD! Tascam M-2516
Oh man ..... I love those large format consoles.
For us old guys ( me, not you) they feel so natural for mixing and I especially like the long faders.
Nice score ..... can't wait to hear something from your new/old rig!

Love it - want it, can't fit it anywhere.
That and a 6 track - unreeeeel.
