HAHAHA. Touche.

Though i assure you it is not fancy. Covered in burns and yellow dead areas from the dog urine. Unpleasant at best.

Mostly "reopen the economy" or "please don't; I prefer to live" these days.

Well I have tracked the drums and bass but cant land anywhere solid that I like on the guitar. I gotta sit and think on this one for a bit more I think.

Fuck it, I'm done with this. Was much harder than I thought, but I suck at bass so not too big a surprise I guess really :sherlock:

liv_rong this actually sounds great on my system. Lots of low end, which I like. I think that the bass playing sounds very good, personally. Good bass tone as well. I wouldn't stress over it, I think it's great!

Thanks! If you want a less squashed version and also no dirt on the bass let me know.

Thanks, man! I really wanted some dirt but lost a lot of clarity on the higher notes. Maybe I'll do a quick remix now lol.

LOL, literally one listen through with dirt off and some level tweaks on the bass and eq tweak on the kick. Not spending any more time on this :coolstorybro: :happytrees:

Well here it is with about 30 minutes of fucking around with it. It’s a fun track to do stuff with!

Wow...that was...that was really well put together! Reminded me a bit of Radiohead. Rhythm section is complex, but tight, and the reverberated guitar soup over the top is the perfect counterbalance. Sounds really full and rich.

I think I personally prefer this mix to the cleaner one below with the click left in. Someone should sing over this...oh wait, did Crows??

Why yes, he did!

While I miss liv's guitars big time, had I not heard anything but this version before, I'd like it as is. I actually wasn't sure how your two styles would work together, but I kind of love this.

So for this one, is it ok to develop the bass part playing along with drums, or does it really need to be just me sitting there with a bass? At least to start...

Yeah, that’s fine if it helps with the rhythm.
