Eastwood .... how ugly can we make a guitar and still get people to buy it?

New Guitar Day? Obsessed with tone? 10 on the volume dial not enough? Celestion vs. Electrovoice? Cum in, feel the noize.

This is a very sexy guitar :eep: :eep: :eep: Not much of the Airline brand does it for me but this right here. This is very much a Shan guitar :like: :like: I love everything about this. Just messaged them about a lefty model. I already know the answer but i had to ask. The price is pretty decent.

A lot of those modern day Airlines are really hollowed out. I bet it sounds cool. :coolstorybro:

None of these interesting guitars ever make it here, new anyway, and I get the economics of why not, but it's a shame.

We get Gibson, Fender, PRS, Ibanez and maybe some of the next level, and copies of them, and that's about it. You'll find some interesting stuff, occasionally, on the second hand market, but not often.

This turned up in a FB group yesterday. Not for me, but it was nice to see something different...

In fact I have a body styled after their Mockingbird ..... but I'm gona cut and sand the shit out of it until it's non-recognizable.

I think it is an Aria copy. He wanted serious money for it though. My LP has 4 push pull pots, none of which I actually ever use. That thing would be a nightmare....

Thats exactly what it reminded me of. The switching looks identical.

Wow. I don't know what to think about that. Half my brain loves it, the other half thinks it looks like a piece of shit. They're probably both right!

I'd not even heard of this kind of guitar before but i guess they would have had to have been something unique for it to come onto eastwood's radar i suppose.

From what i gather eastwoods will not have the aluminium necks. I wish they would do something about that uggo black cut out and just leave it the green or whatever tint they have on the top but whatever. I won't be getting it anyways but is kind of interesting.

@Lt. Bob I too am curious about those p'ups.

Here is a video version of it's name sake.

And another video with those pick ups installed in a waterslide strat knock off guit. through garageband amp sims but i guess you'd get a rough idea.
