Not yet but it’s on their way!
I bought a Tascam Ministudio and a Mackie Control Knob.
I’m tired of using my iPad and GarageBand when I have the newest version of Reason and cool plugs on my computer.
I’m excited. The ministudio looks like a toy, but it should suffice for my needs. I only use one mic at a time anyway, and if I need two, I can just record one on the iPad and one on the computer and sync them up later.

On a selfish note i have always kind of wanted to learn Reason! I had a very very early copy of Reason that absolutely hated Windows ME and i just gave up on it. Truthfully just about all DAWs except for Cool Edit pro 2.0 played well with Windows ME so no surprise there.
One user who rarely if ever comes on here anymore HatfieldCreek is pretty good with Reason. I think he spends a bit of time using it. If i can twist his arm to come back to us he may be a good shoulder to learn on should you need one.
Congrats on all your shiny new stuff dude!

Thanks!
I just love the workflow in Reason because I can use my iPad as a control surface and the whole thing is set up like an SSL console. It’s like having a virtual SSL console at my fingertips!! Doesn’t sound as good as the SSL plugs Waves makes, but I ain’t complaining.

cool beans!
Isn't new gear great?
New knobs to twist .... switches to flip ...... love it.
The one I looked at had two inputs ..... I'm guessing yours is an different model?
Nevermind ..... found it, yours is the US-32 ..... that actually looks pretty awesome .... a tiny bit of gear that does the job without taking up a lot of space.

Yup! I won’t use those four buttons on the bottom but I may utilize that on air button for some projects! We’ll see!Lt. Bob wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 7:13 pm cool beans!

These trinkets will look pretty neat side by side.

Love getting new stuff.
Is the Mackie knob you are getting the passive controller?
How will you use that?
Just curious.

Yep! It’s mostly to A/B between different sources so I don’t have to plug things in and out.musicturtle wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 7:57 pm Nice @CrowsofFritz

Re: NGD
Just purchased a sound bar with my Mackie Big Knob so I can have something to A/B—something that people will be more likely to listen to casually. I LOVE this Big Knob. It’s so freaking cool.

More new gear!
This is a reverb plug-in controller. The plugin is $70 and this controller is $100 and has the plugin free so the controller is really only $30 in my mind.
Reverb is my most important effect and the one I spend a lot of time fiddling around with.

Re: NGD
Cool snag! I think that is about the only waycid pay for a plugin like reverb is if i got simething a bit more with it like a piece of outboard gear.
Can that thing be used with anything else ir are you limited to just the reverb plugin?

Re: NGD
Unfortunately, you’re just limited to the reverb plugin. But I really like it so far. No complaints. The reverb plugin is very subtle. The difference between 40% wet and 100% isn’t that great. I like that. I don’t want a plugin where turning something all the way up gives you a weird and bad sound.
