It is a cut from one of my first "serious" recordings. A buddy of mine bought a Virtual Studio console thing back in like 1997 and we made all kind of noise with it. But this segment was one of my youngest brothers contributions to one of the bands we had. it was just me, my brothers and whatever friend that happened to be around and could play a guitar.
Basement recording,
everything was mic'd with dynamic radio shack mics, 
little to no processing, some reverbs and eq on stuff, though you'd never really know. Same guitar amp was used for everything . Bass was di'd. Guitar i used was an old sears roebuck Zenta telecaster that i adopted from a freind. not unlike gregs first guitar it was just plywood and some gross pick ups and stuff. I still have it at my dads place. it is in a box and i will eventually get it out to alberta someday to fix up and give back to my buddy. I think he'd either punch me for keeping it this long or laugh his ass off. just all around great example of newbs being newbs and not giving a shit. we had a show in a new town and just wanted to have something to hand out at the show so we recorded like 7 songs andgave them away. As if CD's grew on trees.
I really liked that band though. some of the songs were fantastic and i have a half redone one of my faves that still has potential to be a killer tune. Well two of them are half redone. I'll finish them.
