That first picture with all the guitar parts was what I started with. So the body was already glued together, and the control and pickup cavities were already routed, and some holes drilled. The college works with a high school that has a CNC program for their students...so the high school kids learn about working with a CNC machine on the guitar bodies and necks....kind of a win/win.

There really wouldn’t be enough time to complete the guitars in class, if not for that head start. Class was 3 hours once a week, for four months. But even with the head start, there was still a lot of work....I did a lot of body contouring on the tele...more like a strat.

So, you might consider the head start with the CNC premade, or maybe not.
