Gave me some nice food for thought; things I can do w/setup and playing that will work nicely in helping me to avoid developing bad habits. (One thing: I sit too low, since I don't have a stool and just sit in my office chair.) I especially liked his discussion (about 2/3 of the way through) of the legs and feet, and how he showed that playing kick can be as simple as letting your leg and foot drop onto the pedal.

I'll never be as good as that guy, but I know about posture, grip, and ergonomics. It's probably the only part of drumming I actually get right, and I'm a big believer in it being important. I see dudes get gassed after one song because they sit too low and swing their arms too much.

Yeah, a drummer can't last a song, let alone a set, if they aren't sitting right, swinging light and holding tight.
