OK - don't really know what's going on here.
I have a fairly tidy mix, usual sort of thing I do.
Mixed/listening on cans it sounds great - given my time limitations I normally get things there or there about first and then switch to monitors to tweak the mix further.
However, listening on monitors, the left side of the mix sounds much quieter so the whole mix sounds like its leaning to the right.
I know its not something like a weird global right pan setting 'cos fortunately this mix starts off with a Left hard panned guitar which doesn't show up at all in the right speak - it just sounds a little quiet. It might also sound a little dark, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
Anyone got any ideas?
Weird Panning Problem
Re: Weird Panning Problem
Sorted. Dusty vol. pot on the front of my monitor - probably from all the construction I've had done recently. Gave it a wiggle and the left monitor started working properly again.

Glad you got it sorted! I was puzzled

(Note-to-self style comment below...)
Another thing to check would have been to make sure the cables between interface-out and monitor-in are all seated.

Lol it's still less satanic than whatever rituals Katie Perry and Taylor Swift do in their performances.
