Today's gig: British Car Show Edition

Post by Bill L »

Today's gig was doing sound for my friends band, on the water in Bristol, RI during a British Car Show. Here's some pictures. The gig was great (I even jumped up and jammed with them on a couple of tunes) with the exception of some old hag that managed to disconnect the power to the stage not once but twice. Hats off to you, lady.

Bloody hell, I think the 2nd to last one is Daimler Dart. Don't see them very often.

You are correct. I've never been much of a car guy but I do love some of the older cars. On the street, well away from where I was, there were about 30 MGs and Triumphs also. Really cool, fun and well paid gig (for a change). The only downside was that hag that kept unplugging the power on us.

My sis used to have a Spitfire. Like most things made by Leyland in the 70s, it was actually junk. Cool though.
