REAPER in a "real" Studio?

This chap is a bit of a doofus BUT he uses Reaper and I can recognize what he's doing and how. His Reaper tutorials are OK - he's learning it as he goes.
He uses a LOT of hardware with ITB which is interesting but I can't apply that stuff directly.
He did do a mix tutorial which was interesting purely on the level of someone else and their personal preferences.
