Inspired by Greg's recent generosity. I've decided to start experimenting with creating impulses of all of my own cabs.

You know, the toy speakers built into a PBR box and the PA speaker built into a bigger cardboard box!

Sure, Greg's impulses sound great, but what if you want your tone to sound like hot garbage instead?

I also tried to create an impulse from my own voice to see how that would sound. It turned out as 13 seconds of terrible screaming, but if you let it ride, some nice overtones start to build up and it's kind of lovely in an awful way!

I was hoping that I could recreate my entire guitar chain in default Reaper plugins, but sadly actual amp sims are way more complicated.

I subscribe to an electronic music Utub channel HAINBACH - he's a German fellow who repurposes old test equipment as tone generators, filters etc. He posted a vid regarding some impulses a subscriber made in a venue Hainbach liked - in Winnipeg - they are pretty wild as it's a room in a building that was designed to masonic principles and is rather like the eaves dropping spot for the entire building. Here's a link to the impulses - they work in Reaper and I used two files at once L & R because I wasn't certain about what was what at this point.
