Rolling fretboard edges.

Post by JD01 »

Mutt, is it possible to successfully roll the edges of the fretboard on a guitar which didn't have them initially? Or do you just end up with a mess.

Its entirely possible. The practicality and difficulty depends on what neck.

Cheers, was just considering it on my Crimson.
My tele has nice rounded edges and I quite like it - haven't decided whether I'd want to go through with modifying my Crimson yet though as it plays really well the way it is.

No my house build is underway my next priority is gutting my tele anyway.
