Vocals too high in the mix? Too low? Not even sure? Snare sounds wonky? And how do I make everything louder than everything else? Step in, step in, for your mix Viagra from people who know the secrets.

Processing blues harp (harmonica)

Alison and others might find this interesting:

It suggests one way of processing a thinner sound into a big, fat blues harp sound:
- limiter
- EQ - trim off highs (> ~7.5kHz) and lows (< ~200Hz)
- distortion plug-in
- guitar cab sim
- EQ - boost midrange "honk"
- reverb (delay is another good one here)

The article's example plugins are specific to Studio One, but the concepts could be translated to other DAWs.
awesome youtube comment of the day
Lol it's still less satanic than whatever rituals Katie Perry and Taylor Swift do in their performances. 😂
