This looks quite cool

New Guitar Day? Obsessed with tone? 10 on the volume dial not enough? Celestion vs. Electrovoice? Cum in, feel the noize.

I have been watching Rivoltas for a while man. They make some pretty cool looking guitars that i would be interested in trying for sure. Unsure of their connection to Eastwood but that is how i found them. Eastwood of Canada was really promoting Rivoltas hard on their instagram earlier this year.

Do you have a lead on one around you somewhere? I'd be curious to know what you thought of them if you were to have one in your hands.

A bloke just popped up in my YouTube feed playing one and I thought they looked interesting so I did a bit more research on them. The whole range seems pretty cool actually.

I've just emailed them to ask if there are any UK dealers.

Yeah, I saw that too. They do another shape with a pair of Humbuckers in it which also looks quite cool - those ones have a slightly nicer bridge too.

They're made in cahoots with that Fano guy, who makes cool but grossly overpriced guitars in his own name.

I like them. Not enough to buy one, but they don't make me wretch or anything.

That's nice but I actually think the blue Rivolta looks better.

Me ..... I'm doing a lot of gigs on a Xavier tele thinline with 'buckers in it and RED METALFLAKE !!!! :like:
It was a blem and cost $140.

TBH it's pretty meh but I don't care if the salt air or condensation from the fog fucks it up which it won't anyway since it has that plasticky sort of finish that's immune to anything.

No way I'm taking a pricy axe to a beach gig.

Rivolting....

Sorry, someone had to go there. Does look quite cool but don't like the name or the headstock much. I like the blue one better too.

Yup, that was before I saw one, played one, and found one relatively cheap with a case.

That is pretty interesting. I quite like that. Some of the asthetics are kind of not what i would want, but after lusting after the Eastwood Airline Mercury there a while back this would also do the same job. Possibly a bit better as well with that F-hole in it!

Nice find JD! You going to pick it up ?

Dunno, my local shop said they could order one in for me to try.
I'd like a semi-hollow with a bridge humbucker and this is pretty much the only production guitar I can find. I'm in now rush anyway.

From a personal "looks" thing, I've never looked f-hole thinlines (why are they called that anyway?) and am not a fan of the 4 X black plastic knobs layout a la an LP.
