I already got the bass done. I just need to stop being lazy and upvote it. But yes, I’m glued to the election hahaWhiskeyJack wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 11:22 pm giv'r the snot @CrowsofFritz

Re: Challenge #7 - Bloodlines
Sent you the bass. There’s some bleed from my stupid interface and it’s a very simple bass line. If anyone wants to replace it, that’s cool.

Re: Challenge #7 - Bloodlines
this whole track is just moderately organized noise. Your bleed is at home.
Most doom / sludge / stoner metal is a little light in the complexity department. It's like the 3 chord ramones-esque punk of all the metal subgenres. NO doubt what you have is gonna kick ass.

Re: Challenge #7 - Bloodlines
Updated track is in the OP and the dropbox links are updated with new projects!
I didn't line up the timing of the bass at all, so it might be slightly off the beat in the project. The bleed is pretty buried even before much of anything comes in.
Tadpui, you're up!

Word CrowsofFritz Getting closer and closer to summoning the night man.
I still think it would be cool to have some spoken word sampled shit in it but i'll wait it out and see where everyones else contributions end up!vomitHatSteve wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 6:16 pm I'mma throw my hat in as next after Tad unless someone else claims it.

I can definitely add weird vocal samples over it as a finishing touch after people have added their stuff to it.WhiskeyJack wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 6:18 pm Word @CrowsofFritz Getting closer and closer to summoning the night man.

Is this still in motion vomitHatSteve and or Tadpui
Re: Challenge #7 - Bloodlines
Yeah, I grabbed the project last weekend and got it up and running. I'm still mulling over what to do. If I havent made progress by this weekend, I'll relinquish it to the next person and come back to it later.

Yeah, no rush.
I was gonna do some trumpet next, and any time I have to catch my breath after covid helps!

So, tad is next?
When can I take a punt at it.
Fancy adding some vocals, strings/church organ and maybe some extra guitar.

Yeah, Tad is going right now.
Since you haven't gone yet, I'll put you next after him.

On the other end of the spectrum i have about +/-16 hours into my parts. YMMVvomitHatSteve wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 11:59 am So, JD01, are you taking first crack then?
It's probably worth mentioning that I spent... maybe 45 minutes on the initial track, so that's probably a good bar for how seriously anyone should take this.

Also, those marker names are pretty hilarious
