I can hear that - Quine would've been without the wild effect as he was just wild.
I have everything he did with Richard Hell and with Matthew Sweet, (he seemed to tag team with Richard Lloyd when it came to playing lead for Sweet), but am not fussed on his work with Reed, (that's weird given his fan boy status re: Reed - the Quine Tapes are obsessively good), but it's possibly becasue Reed wouldn't allow him to get crazy.
I'm sure James Dodd will be pleased with the reference.

Did I start everyone on this creative commons / prelinger archives thing? Or did everyone find their own way there?

I have a couple of old burlesque movies from there I'm waiting for an opportunity to deploy... πŸ˜„

I'll check it out tonight ray. πŸ‘

I started raiding the P Archive several years back but forgot about it for a while and didn't return to it for this one as they've changed their position on access & use - some stuff needs to be "borrowed" - downloaded and then deleted/self destruction sort of thing.
CC on Utub isn't too hard using their built in filter so I opted for that BUT it took a lot of searching and discovering that the same thing has been uploaded a squillion times with varying names.
Were you my impetus? I can't remember...may have been VHS mentioning it or you.

I think I may have heard of prelinger from you, yeah.

There is a surprising amount of public domain smut buried in there.
