I've been noticing a static-y, weird little sound coming through both my amps...I mentioned this a while back, & thought it was a tube, but it's there with both amps, so I'm gonna say it's something to do with the power here at the house, "dirty" power is what I'm calling it...I mostly hear it when I palm-mute, so it's there all the time, I just can't hear it all the time...While it's not terrible, it shouldn't be there...
Most of my shit is plugged into a couple power strips behind my desk, & there are a lot of cables, but there ain't much I can do about how it's all set up...
So it looks like I may be investing in some sort of power conditioner...I obviously wanna get by spending as little as possible, so are there any recommendations or possibly even other solutions???
I saw this, but I have no idea about this one, or any of 'em really...
Any suggestions???

That's just a fancy power strip. You probably need a "conditioner". I don't know how or why power conditioners work, but they do. I've heard it firsthand. I'm thinking about getting one myself.

Yeah, it's a fancy power strip, but it's supposed to help with emi/rfi noise (according to the "reviews"), which I think is my problem....The last time my neighbor ran his mower somehow it was coming through my amp...I'm gonna keep digging around to see what I can find out about this...Greg_L wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2017 11:17 am That's just a fancy power strip.
