Hmm,
Seeing blokes my age, look older & almost as silly, promoting their rock'n'roll hardware?
I could go and see the Eagles I suppose.
NOT!

Re: This makes me want to buy an Epiphone...
I am rekindling my relationship with my Epiphone. I quite like it. Not sure why i stuck it in the closet all these years. It needs some work but on the whole it isn't that bad a piece of kit.

No problems with the gear - I just thought the pic was funny.
We have these places called Men's Sheds where the older guys congregate and chat and teach each other new stuff - great idea. I was walking yesterday afternoon and wandered past one from which a god awful racket was emanating. The shed was full of old guys sitting in seats with a guitarist, drummer and choirmaster grinding out Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop". Must have been 20 or more of them.
Good on them and all, but if that's my musical life in retirement, kill me now!

Never, ever, ever grow a moustache. But particularly don't do it when you're old. And bald. And fat-faced.

My thoughts exactly.
Re: This makes me want to buy an Epiphone...
You need to try being old first. Then decide if you need a moustache to go with it...

I feel the same way about tatoo's. I really have no idea why anyone would want one but lots of you do...
Re: This makes me want to buy an Epiphone...
I dont have a totoo or a moustache... but I am old...
Re: This makes me want to buy an Epiphone...
I had a moustache for about 3 minutes.
I shaved off my full beard late in 1981. I stopped at the moustache. Looked at it, had a cup of tea, looked again & shaved it.
