I don't know who else follows unhinged comics as closely as they follow American politics, but the guy who writes Dilbert has been getting increasingly weird and incoherent since 2016.
I wouldn't say his crazy has "peaked" but certainly one relevant high point is
this tweet.
So I wrote a song about the explicit claim that the guy - who again, writes Dilbert - might pre-emptively murder random strangers

You mind yourself as you go through your day
You try to be good, and you try to be kind
But there's no way to anticipate
The sudden onslaught of the Dilbert guy
The coffee shop, you sit and type
An incidental locking of eyes
You have no history, you have no gripe
But you've clocked as a threat to the Dilbert Guy
Women don't understand, the civil war has already started
Men live in a constant state of violence
We size up every threat, and have a tentative plan to kill it first
We live that war, and it never stops
Walking through the woods one day
When there's a bear to your surprise
You breathe a deep sigh of relief
At least it's not the Dilbert Guy
His forearms swollen from gripping his mighty pen
His frontal lobe engorged like a geek leviathan
He'll tell you he's very smart again and again and again and again and again
And again and again and again
Women don't understand, the civil war has already started
Men live in a constant state of violence
We size up every threat, and have a tentative plan to kill it first
We live that war, and it never stops
It never stops
Women don't understand, the civil war has already started
Men live in a constant state of violence
We size up every threat, and have a tentative plan to kill it first
We live that war, and it never stops
