Here's another re-recorded old song from my vault. I wrote this May 1995 when I was 17 and pretty much forgot all about it until recently while going through old cassettes. So much crap on them but every now an then I find something that I remember so well and the time it was captured in. Anyway, I thought I'd give this one a 2024 upgrade for my memory box.

Cheap Gear - In A Square Room! Getting the job done!
It's cool as a song - very midrangey as mentioned. I can hear the piano bass keys doing something cool in that intro like in the life can section. Maybe pull the piano back a little for dynamics/arrangement.
Vocal is cool
@Mr Clean Just catching up, I'm not quite as frantically busy as I was.
The Piano is a bit much in the middle of the mix - its pretty loud, take it down/back a bit.
The acoustic, really disappears, behind the piano, it could do with having a fuller sound, its pretty thin - when the whole mix is in, you can pretty much just hear the pick noise, which isn't bad, it just kind of adds to the percussion.
