Reaper 7 instability?

I recently updated to Reaper 7 and it's pretty good BUT I've found a problem:
If I load reatune and then click the manual correction tab the DAW crashes.

I tried many times in different & blank projects but the crashes keep happening.
I downloaded 7.8 and installed that but the problem persists.
It's odd that native items cause this.
Anyone have a similar experience?
Any solutions?

Reaper 7.8 here. No such issue. Just tried on a blank project and an existing one.

Haven't downloaded it yet, but sounds odd - clicking on a tab doesn't do anything much but load a new section of an interface, hardly a big CPU load.

Can you go back to an earlier version of 7, or did you get the newly minted 7.00 when it came out?
