I posted this yonks ago. Originally the guitar part was all noodles and no bite but, as the noodler also came to the table with the chord progression, (though admitted it was a lift from ZZTop), I had to follow through with it as it was.
That bugged me as the song had potential and the narrative had a little bite that a solo should essay.
I used a BIAB replacement for my own listening purposes but, across a couple of years, it bugged me mightily.
Eventually I put on my big boy pants and asked Lt. Bob to have a crack at it.
He obliged and here we have a song that has, now, achieved its potential:

That sounds great! Lt. Bob’s guitar is smoking! The vocals are perfect. My only nit is that I’d like to hear more thwack out of the snare.
