Wav to MP3 (Coverters)

Post by Audio Monster »

Naturally my files are saved as wav files but recently I had a huge crash and lost a lot of, stuff. A great audio converter was amongst the heap. Simple question, what do you guys use for such things?

If you're just converting one file at a time use reaper. Just render your WAVs as mp3s

I use an old version of Easy CD DA Extractor. It has the LAME I like.

If you have reaper and the LAME converter just insert your haves into a blank track amd render it down to mp3.

That is just what i know. Id like to think any daw can do that?

I find Audacity works pretty well for mass Wav -> mp3 conversion with the "export multiple" option.
