It is September 11th and Levi the emo terrorist flew his plane right into our community. God Bless America.

I like how the singer faces backwards. So edgy and ironic.

We did it in practice cause most of our songs are jams so I watch his hands while drumming.

Started doing it at shows after the first dozen or so.

Didn't realize how edgy it was until it was already too late.

That's reasonable.
Started doing it at shows after the first dozen or so.
That's stupid.

That's because it's not really edgy, it's pretentious and stupid.

It could also be completely self-unaware.

I could picture a jam band performing in a circle because they forgot that there's supposed to be an audience watching them.

Could be. But if you're that self-unaware you probably should just stay in the garage.

If you're playing the sort of jam music that's conducive to nobody looking at the audience, you should stay in the garage! :D
