Upgrading cymbals 1 at a time: hats, ride, or crash first?

Post by SweetDan »

Just like the title says.... If I'm upgrading (or acquiring) my cymbals, one at a time, is it best to upgrade the hats, ride, or crash first?
awesome youtube comment of the day
Lol it's still less satanic than whatever rituals Katie Perry and Taylor Swift do in their performances. 😂

IMO, poor crash cymbals sound the worst of the bunch, so I'd do those first. You can get by with bad hats and a bad ride. But bad crash cymbals sound real bad.
