My TS9 is from the 80s. I'll sell it for $598.

I gave away a Boss HM-2, an early 80s MIJ one - don't care if the Finnish Death Metal scene rate them and are willing to pay, it literally sounded like a bag of arseholes and I just wanted rid of it.

Anything with "metal" right in the name is most times gonna be shit.

Wow, wtf? An 80s reissue of a vintage mass produced pedal for $600? That's just silly.

Yeah I saw that too. It may just be mis-labeled because it looks like a real early 80s 808. The green is the right shade, but the trademark R is missing, so I don't know. I'm not enough of a Tube Screamer historian to know. The reissues are more of a lime green, but I wouldn't go basing anything off that.

That price is asinine no matter how original or what era it is.

Hey! The Death Metal Pedal is a classic!

And by that, I mean it's the first pedal I got as a teen. But sometimes it's useful when you want to make your tone intentionally bad.

Being intentionally bad is one thing I've finally outgrown. I'm naturally bad now.

That’s ridiculous. I’m a pedal guy, love them, but some of the prices on shit is out of hand.

I just checked Reverb, and sweet zombie Jesus they're 2, 3, even 4 times the price of that $600 one! I'd say snag that one and double your money :D

There was a Mel9 on the Oz pedal page on fb for $250 - CHEAP but was snapped in seconds.
Let me know when you want me to post the pedal to you David. I can live without it for a month or so now I've completed a track with it.
Cheers
