This is like some sort of music marketing genius... you've done the impossible and got a group of musicians to actually give a fuck about your music and anticipate it!

I've heard it. The lead break makes Satriani sound like the Dead Milkmen's "Punk Rock Girl" solo.

LOL - I'm sort of stuck with it. I need a two syllable word, name, shout, something... to appear in the chorus, and once I have that, the rest will appear clear.

Trouble is that two syllable names that sound good in choruses have all been done before, and usually end in an "ie" type sound. Might have to be a word then. I DID think "Donnie" but I didn't want to be quite that obviously political.. Jennie, Johnny, Mandy, Suzi, Billy etc. All been done to death.

As I've said, I have recorded the solo and Bubba's heard it and didn't politely go "Hmmm... that's <cough> not bad" so I guess I'm not completely off the mark. I'm not talking it up. It's just a minor part of the tune.

So pitch in with your ideas. Two syllables. Name. Word. Thought. Anything really...

I was going to try "Cataract" in honour of Blind Miro and the Cataracts, but I think two syllables work a bit better - although I did have a few cataract concepts I was working with.

I don't know who that is, but you sort of wonder if they ever look back at photos like this and think "What were we thinking?", or whether they actually believe it was "a thing" at the time and are proud looking like nancy-boy spandex bumblebees...

The reunion tours would be interesting. Spandex doesn't work so well on 50s midriffs.

Where is the song???? Lol - I finally got a break from work to do some listening and found nothing in the thread. Oh well, I'll check in a week when they let me outta my cage again. :)
People want something for nothing, they want it right now. Either they can't tell quality or don't care but feel it is important that everyone agrees with them.

LOL - I'm actually working on another one at the moment which is nearer completion. I tracked all the lead vocals then decided when I was putting it together that it was all wrong and a different "voice" was required. So I'll get onto it next week and hopefully by next weekend I'll have a song, but not this one.

But I'll get onto the words for this one, which, apart from the "kill me"s from VHS and Bubba, are a mystery. :lollers:
